The 14th State of Agile report is now open and software professionals are invited to take the survey online.
At the Agile 2019 conference on August 6, ColabNet VersionOne opened the 14th State of Agile report for software professionals to submit their perspectives and share their thoughts on the state of agility at their organisations.
The State of Agile report has been published for the last 13 years and is considered a key barometer of the adoption of agile practices. The 13th report was released on May 7, 2019.
All 13 previous reports are available to view online here.
Key findings from the 13th report are:
- Cost reduction is a driver for adopting agile approaches and is a reported benefit of agile adoption
- The top three factors contributing to successful organisation transformations are investing in internal agile coaches, executive sponsorship and training programs provided by the company
- The global adoption of agile approaches is increasing, with North America having a smaller percentage of the total respondents than in previous years
When anouncing the 14th survey, ColabNet VersionOne CEO Flint Brenton said:
Our State of Agile research is globally recognized and has been in continuous use for more than a decade, as a source of information and decision support resource for businesses and IT leaders making important decisions about software innovation, development and delivery.
