Summary

Marcelo Wiermann is a software developer turned manager with 10+ years of experience in the field. He has served companies in LATAM, Europe and the US and helped build organizations, develop people and craft software in early stage startups and publicly traded companies. He helped create high availability APIs and data pipelines processing multiple terabytes of data per day in AdTech, award-winning blockchain solutions and e-commerce platforms serving millions of users every day. In his (nearly mythical) free time, Marcelo likes to mentor engineers, engineering managers and entrepreneurs at The Mentoring Club. He currently serves as sr. Engineering Manager at Delivery Hero, one of Germany’s largest tech companies, where he leads the Global Recommendations department.
